Teen Birth Rates Drop, But Districts Fight Parent Dropouts

Teen birth rates in the US has always been high and now they are decreasing. Some say that the show " Teen Mom & 16 & Pregnant " helped decreased the rate of teen pregnancy. By teens seeing what those mothers go through, it influenced them not to have sex. It also to do things that prevent them from getting pregnant. The show hasn't been the only thing to help teens out, but it has been a good influence. Those that have been pregnant end up dropping out of school to care for the baby. That rate of mother dropouts are increasing rapidly. Now districts in certain areas help the mothers with the baby to try to prevent them from dropping out.
My opinion is that it is good that the rates are dropping, but the mothers should do better to stay in school. The district helping out is also a good thing for them.
How long will teen pregnancy rate continue to decrease?

Do Now

“I've missed more than 9000 shots in my career. I've lost almost 300 games. 26 times, I've been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed. I've failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed."
In this quote Michael Jordan was saying how you may not always win something or things may not be perfect but that does not mean give up. If you continue and try your best you still can turn out to be successful. Just overlook failures and keep trying and you can succeed.

Do Now

Life is 10% of what happens to you, and 90% of how you react to it.

Life consists of many problems and things that will happen to you but it mainly consists of how you react to those problems that occur.
